For Schools

At Wood-Sage Outdoor Education, we believe the outdoors is a powerful tool for growth, confidence and connection. From school groups to vulnerable young people, we design engaging, purposeful programmes that meet the needs of every participant.

Our Specialism: Supporting Vulnerable & Hard-to-Reach Young People

We have a strong reputation for working with young people who may struggle in mainstream education or social settings. Our tailored programmes focus on:

  • Building confidence and resilience through achievable challenges.
  • Developing communication and social skills in safe, supportive group activities.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and teamwork by creating shared successes.
  • Providing progression pathways, helping young people move from fun introductory sessions towards leadership and responsibility.

Led by Simon and Bev, both qualified teachers, Wood-Sage Outdoor Education delivers bespoke programmes tailored to the unique needs of each young person. Their educational expertise ensures that every activity is safe, engaging, and purposeful, supporting personal development, confidence, and resilience.
