Bullseye and Basecamp

At Wood‑Sage Outdoor Education, Bullseye and Basecamp brings together the very best of adventure, creativity, and outdoor learning for children of all ages taking part in the HAF Programme. Designed as a mixed and fully inclusive experience, this session blends age‑appropriate target sports, energetic team challenges, and hands‑on campfire cooking to create a day that’s active, social, and deliciously memorable.

Aim High with Target Sports

Children can try their hand at a range of safe, confidence‑building target activities—perfectly matched to their age and ability. From soft‑archery to precision throwing games, every challenge is designed to develop focus, coordination, and a sense of achievement.

Team Games That Bring Everyone Together

Our woodland basecamp becomes a playground for teamwork. Through fast‑paced group games and problem‑solving activities, children learn to communicate, collaborate, and celebrate each other’s successes. It’s all about building friendships, boosting confidence, and having a brilliant time outdoors.

Healthy Campfire Cooking

No Wood‑Sage experience is complete without the warmth of the campfire. Children get stuck into preparing simple, healthy recipes using fresh ingredients, learning new skills and discovering just how tasty nutritious food can be when cooked over the flames.

Important Information About Food Allergies

As part of our outdoor experience, all food is cooked over an open fire using communal cooking spaces and utensils. This makes it impossible for us to guarantee that any meal will be free from allergens or cross‑contamination. We therefore cannot cater for individuals with food allergies or severe dietary sensitivities.
