Airsoft Target Range

Do you enjoy games like Battlefield, Call of Duty, Fortnite, or other action‑packed titles?
If so, you’ll love the chance to try out some of the realistic, game‑inspired equipment we use in this activity.
We provide a range of realistic imitation firearms (RIFs) that fire 6mm biodegradable BBs, giving you an authentic, safe, and environmentally responsible experience.
Our state‑of‑the‑art electronic target system lets us adjust difficulty levels, switch between game modes, and track your reaction speed and accuracy. It’s a brilliant way to bring out a bit of friendly competition and adds an exciting, immersive edge to this hugely popular activity.

Archery

Ever fancied yourself as a modern‑day Robin Hood or Maid Marion?
At The Meadow, our outdoor archery range offers beginner‑friendly taster sessions with colourful visual targets and simple, confidence‑building bow handling. We focus on fun, engagement, and a great first experience, rather than advanced technique.
All of our sessions are delivered by ARCHERY GB‑qualified instructors, ensuring a safe, supportive and enjoyable introduction to this classic activity.

Air Rifles & Pistols

Can you steady your head, nerves, hand and heartbeat to hit more targets than your teammates?
Our target shooting sessions offer a fun, confidence‑building challenge for all abilities, with a variety of air rifles and pistols to suit different ages and shooting styles. You’ll get hands‑on experience with traditional break‑barrel rifles, modern PCP rifles, and semi‑automatic plinkers for fast‑paced, reactive shooting.
Every session is delivered by instructors holding at least the NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme Tutor qualification, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. For groups wanting to develop their skills further, Simon brings additional NSRA and BASC shooting qualifications, offering tailored guidance to help improve technique and accuracy.

For the Younger Adventurer

For younger adventurers who are not yet old enough for our main activities, we offer a range of exciting ‘soft options’.
These sessions are run just like our full‑size ranges, ensuring that children feel fully included, supported, and part of the action.

Tomahawk Throwing

This traditional North American axe has a long history, originally used by Native American communities and later by Colonial Europeans as a versatile tool. Its design was even influenced by the Royal Navy boarding axe and was commonly traded for food and essential supplies.
At Wood‑Sage, we skip the trading and go straight to the fun — throwing Tomahawks at purpose‑built targets. It’s exciting, surprisingly addictive, and a brilliant challenge for groups of all ages.
You can also try your hand at Flying Angels. These lighter throwing tools offer a faster, more agile experience and are just as enjoyable
